For all you foodies who like the moving pictures, TCM is running food themed flicks every Friday night this month. Last week was Eat Drink Man Woman,Mostly Martha, and Tom Jones. A. Bourdain did some intros chit chat etc.
Not sure what's on this week.

A note: I watched a movie last weekend called Toast. I was going to post this notice in the artisinal toast thread, but forgot.

It is the story of the head chef at the Savoy restaurant (Nigel Slater) in London and how he got there.

Watched Haute Cuisine on Netflix on the weekend. It's based on the true story of the woman who was brought in to serve as Mitterand's personal chef during his second term and prepare him good honest dishes like his mom used to make (I'm paraphrasing). A bit thin on the story side of things but she (Daniele Mazet-Delpeuch) consulted on the movie's menu and all the food was actually prepared in the Elysee, so kind of fun from that perspective.
