Burger Press [Cooking]

Well damned if any amount of google-fu existing in me can find the thread where I posted this a year or so ago asking about a burger press. I recall saying that I thought the Star Frit one was a bit too big, and Krusty said he loved his.

Anyway, I saw one at a thrift store a couple of weeks ago for $1 and could not resist at that price. It is actually pretty good and I've used it a few times since then. 150g per patty seems pretty good in my books. Make things go a bit quicker when making burgers, and you can stack 6 of them in the cannister at that weight.

My parents swear by theirs.

And I'm glad they do, because it makes it so easy to make stuffed burgers. Put half the burger's worth of beef in, press, add something to the middle, add the other half of the beef, press, drool.

Dang, I'd seen that one when searching on 'starfrit' as well, but thought the thread I was looking for had something about a press in the subject :-)
