New Green Papaya [Food/Vendor]

Yep, that's a lot of expanding going on! In fact, they're expanding so fast that the Papaye Verte webpage shows the title "Lil Thai Garden," which was what the Queen street location *used* to be called. See for yourself: www.greenpapaya.ca
Also, I just noticed that the Queen St location is actually closed for repair and renovations due to an electrical fire in the basement. Re-opening soon.
Anyway, if they can expand so much *and* keep their food quality up then they're doing great!

I heard the rumor that the original Green Papaya at Queen was sold and the owner made some money from the sale and built the second Green Papaya (at Preston). I also heard that the owner hired some Thai chefs and staff from Thailand directly (he provides room and board to the staff). Don't know how true the rumor is. But this should make the restaurant a very authentic Thai restaurant.

Interesting.. unfortunately, they forgot to tell the phone company that! For the "Location" link to work on the page (Papaye Verte), I have to put "Papaye Verte". If I put "Green Papaya" only the other two locations show up.
For now, please consider it a limitation of my site. I do plan to work around this by having a separate data field for "real title" vs. "lookup title".. it's on my list! :)
If you search for "Green Papaya" all three locations show up, and they're all linked to each other via the "See also" field. I hope that's okay with ya!

It will be interesting to see how they do at that location. I hope they are not expanding too fast.
