Seeking: Panibois Wood Baking Moulds [Cooking]

2013 Oct 21
Bought a cake at Metro that came in a Panibois wood baking mould. They would be perfect for putting my Christmas cakes in. Apparently they are made in France, and are available for mail order from the UK or elsewhere but in sets of 100. Does anyone know where I can find them in Ottawa or perhaps Toronto or Montreal.

Thanks

Speak with the guy who runs Macarons et Madeleines. He uses them and told me that he gets his from a restaurant supply company in Montreal.

Thanks! Will give him a try.

Tell him the guy in the kilt sent you.
He'll know.

Hey, is that you Rizak?

I would pay $20 to see Rizak in a skirt!

If that is Rizak in the kilt, then good on him.

"THE WOMAN WITH THE HAT" has made her multi-million dollar family business using a similar shtick.

Nah. Rizak's got the good stuff: rizak.ca/wp/

(I've been adding it to my cocoa for weeks now.. ;) )

Oh, you guys.

I wonder if Rizak sports a high-tech sporran like this guy ?

One for keeping extra vanilla bean and extract samples in.

Captain Caper, that *is* Rizak.

Yes, I was very impressed when Rizak came to my market table dressed in black leather kilt on a REALLY cold day last winter. Brrr!

Good god, where did you find that picture? Is there a fan site out there somewhere that I'm unaware of?

Rizak, apparently you posted the picture half a decade ago. forum.canadianwoodworking.com

Or it *could* have been one of your groupies acting on your behalf.
