I enjoy Thi Fusion located at Kanata Centrum...and Kanata Noodle House, not fully Thai but have some nice Thai dishes.

Not quite Kanata, but not far, Sukhothai in Bells Corners.

Not quite Kanata either, but a wonderful top-down drive out River Road on a summer-like fall day, Nakhon Thai in Kemptville.

There is a Thai place in the Wendy's mall on Carling (in the hightech park - Kanata North). Can't comment on it since this is the 3rd? incarnation of the place. There are more Vietnamese places if you are looking for other asian.

That Thai place on Carling near the Wendy's is hit or miss. For consistency of food I'd say go to Bells Corners to Sukkhothai, but prepare to overpay for small portions.

Or go a couple blocks past Sukhothai to Thai Flame Restaurant for better value, better food (IMO), and no wait.

You could go even further to Baan Thai in Centrepointe for (what I think is) the best Thai restaurant in town.

(Or go even further to the airport and head to Bangkok)
