Smoking haddock [General]

I have smoked some salmon recently and now I would like to try haddock. I would prefer to hot smoke it but the web has provided little in the way of enlightenment. Has anyone here done it? Is it the same basic brine as salmon? All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's similar to Cod, so it should take hot smoking fairly well. I know that it does not take well to salting, so I wouldn't brine it personally. You'll want to take the internal temperature to at least 158, but not much further than that to keep it moist.
