Dual Fuel BBQ? [Cooking]

2013 May 15
Any feedback on Dual fuel BBQ's like the Coleman being sold at CT? Coleman BBQ's in general?

I'm more a toss something on the grill person, but I am intrested in learning to use charcoal as well.

I've seen the commercial, but I haven't seen the grill in person. From the look of the commercial, the charcoal side is pretty small. I think a larger charcoal only grill would be a better choice. At times I struggle cooking steaks for more than 6-8 people on my 22.5" kettle and its way bigger than what the charcoal side on that grill looks to be.

Set up a search on Kijiji for charcoal and keep an eye on the listings. Lots of people impulse buy Weber grills at Home Depot and then get rid of them when they fail miserably at using them. I've seen nearly new kettles going for $50-75 on a regular basis.

If you do end up getting one and you have any questions, lemme know, I'm happy to provide advice.
