ottawa foodies

Hey Foodies, I'm heading down to Lake Placid next week for spring break. Just wondering if there are any recommendations from the community on places to eat. We are 2 parents, 2 grand parents and 4 kids - so high end dining is out. Gluten free options would be great if you happen to have any.

Thanks all. If you have a bigger group (i.e. 8), midweek reservations anywhere seems to be a must. We ended up eating at the hotel (meh), Big Mountain Deli and Creperie (very good), The Diner (good breakfast - decent diner food) and takeout from the local chinese place, China City (good for american chinese). Brewpub was packed, as were most of the other restro's we tried to hit. Some places were closed on a Tuesday night, but appeared open on Wednesday.
