Looking for a good, not too expensive place for a group (6) lunch on Dec. 20. Must be within walking distance from Kent/Gilmour. Our backup plan is the Atomic Rooster. Thanks

Off the top of my head there is Whalesbone on Bank Street just north of Gladstone. Going south on Bank there is Talay Thai and Berryman's. If Bank and Somerset is not too far away there is always Ceylonta on Somerset just off Bank.

You can easily make a full meal out of 2 of their side dishes.

I hear good things about that Persian Place on Kent near Whalesbone Fish House, never been myself though.

Also BOM is decent and usually a crowd pleaser.

Our office has had good lunches at Corriander Thai at Kent and Cooper. Lots of vegeterrian options too!
