going to St Louis [Travel]

Imo's pizza is unadultered St. Louis -- provel cheese and all. I won't say I loved it but it might be worth a try. They also sell 'toasted ravioli' which is actually deep-fried and my feelings on it are about the same.
One place in St. Louis that I absolutely loved was Pappy's Smokehouse (get the ribs!); personally, I thought it was better than Bogart's. It's also next door to a pretty good microbrewery (Buffalo Microbrewery). On which note, if you're into beer the Shlafly Taproom or Bottleworks is a must.
Also, grab a gooey butter cake. I had one at Park Avenue Coffee and it was great to satisfy a sweet tooth.

More traveling is in my future. We're going to St Louis for the weekend & I would love to have some advice on where to eat in St. Louis. We're staying downtown near the stadium, but will have a truck to travel around the city. Looking for moderately priced local dining.
