Hi,

Does anyone know of where I can buy Linguica in Ottawa? It is a cured Portuguese sausage similar to Chorizo. Second best would be cured Chorizo....

This was a few years ago, I would recommend calling to see if they still sell some before going.

If you call, you can pronounce it correctly if you use a soft C... lin-GWEE-sah

The correct spelling is Linguiça.

I've seen it at Mario's Food Centre before. And of course they sell the delicious Portuguese Chorizo (called "Chouriço" and pronounced kind of like show-REE-soo).

Ok so now who knows where to buy Cevapcicci? (che-VOP-chee-chee}

Thanks for all of the replies. I will try Mario's Food Centre as I live really close by. And yes, I have had the embarrassing moment of mispronouncing it when I first had it in Toronto....
