Hello again fellow foodies! We have released some additional seating for our upcoming beer and food pairing to make room for new membership. Here are the details of this weekend's upcoming event:

The Ottawa Beer TAP Society and the Copper Pot Cafe present:
Beer. Lovers. Dinner.
Craft Brewed Beer & Food Pairing Event
February 19 and 20, 2012 (2 seatings)
6:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Copper Pot Cafe, 610 Bronson Ave (underneath the Keller Williams building)

Savour craft-brewed beer by local talented home brewers paired with 6 courses of mouth-watering creations by Colin Lockett, chef at the Copper Pot Cafe. Seating is limited and seats are $55 each, which includes club membership. To reserve your seats and membership, contact the Ottawa Beer TAP Society at ottawabeertap@gmail.com or call us at 613-853-7469.

Limited spaces and new memberships are available and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

As a teaser, here is what our last menu looked like:

WARM WELCOME – Buttered Beer (1588 Tudor recipe)

Rauchbier (Smoked Beer) (5%)
Served with - Sweet potato & Yukon gold rosti | maple smoked sausage* | double smoked bacon | potato crisp| maple – soy drizzle

Vanilla Porter (5.5%) -
Served with - coffee & chipotle BBQ sauce braised beef brisket | fresh cut fries | light Dijon aioli

Honey Oatmeal Stout (5.9%)
Served with - pork medallions | apple chutney | goat cheese|roasted mushroom puree | whole wheat cous cous

Baltic Pumpkin Porter (7.3%)
Served with - carrot & roasted parsnip bisque | allspice & honey | browned butter | chives

Belgian Tripel (8%)
Served with - haddock fish cake | mild tartar sauce | olive oil & lemon tossed baby arugula

Barleywine, 2 ½ year (14%)
Served with - blueberry & strawberry bread pudding

APERITIF – Beer Liqueur (25%)

I went to one of these and it is definitely well worth the time and money. The food and beers are excellent, and JP really knows his stuff.

thanks zym :) then again, you're biased because you like beer and food...but really, who doesn't like beer and food? lol

Attendance for this event is advance sale only as membership is required.
