Canadian Museum of Nature
Come out for a stimulating, engaging evening at the Canadian Museum of Nature. Listen to interesting speakers, watch a thought-provoking documentary, and participate in a dynamic discussion on the topic: "Is eating seafood ethical and sustainable?" The guest speakers are: Dr. Melissa Marschke, Assistant Professor, School of International Development and Global Studies, University of Ottawa; and Joshua Bishop, Owner/Worker, The Whalesbone Oysterhouse and Sustainable Retail Oyster & Fish Store, Ottawa. Time: 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Advance registrations are required. : 613-566-4791. Cost: $25; $20 for members, students and volunteers. Includes dessert, tea, and coffee.
