Get head and tongue at Feast of Fields [General]

2011 Sep 9
It’s not too late to get your ticket to Feast of Fields. This event raises funds for Canadian Organic Growers, who in turn support and promote organic agriculture all across the country.

Chef Charlotte from The Whalesbone Oyster House and Farmer Sam from Funny Duck Farms will be serving up something special: a sample platter of delights like headcheese, liver & kidney pate, hogs tongue and more.

There will be many farmer/chef teams serving up some of the best Ottawa has to offer in local organic foodstuffs.

Come for a day of fantastic flavourful food fun, and be sure to stop by our booth and say hi!

How was the Feast?
and the turnout??

I wanted to go, but I was really ill from lunch at Whalesbone.
The food was great on Sat, but I think it was the mayo and hot peppers in my food that made me ill...maybe?
-had smoked sardine tacos, surprized I was ill from those :(

Hope the Feast turnout was good this year...
