ottawa foodies

Hiya foodies, I'm craving warm chewy bagels but can't think of where to get one in my work district (centretown ... Elgin to Bay, Wellington to Somerset radius). Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking the Kettleman's variety but the closest one is in the Glebe. The only place I can think of is Hartmans but it's not exactly the same. Other suggestions?

Ottawa Bagel on Wellington between Holland and Island Park.

Ask at the Herb & Spice on Bank Strret what day or time their fresh bagels come in, then plan a trip there. They are on Bank a couple of blocks south of Somerset. I don't know of anyone making bagels within your radius...

Ottawa Bagel would be my choice. Plenty of browse worthy items as well...

BigMouth Kettleman's in the Glebe is the closest bagel shop I'm afraid. Otherwise I would echo New User 2633's suggestion of asking at Herb when their fresh bagels arrive. They had some at Hartmans on my last visit there a couple of months ago but they are more like buns with a hole in the middle so not real bagels.
