There is a new roaster in this "IDS" location :

Anyone know anything about it? The name is something like "Escentia" but google is not finding anything under that name. I guess I'll just double check the spelling next time I go by.

Apparently there was a "Wake Up Coffee" place at that location last spring: Forum - new coffee roaster near preston?

Interesting - google brings up nothing on them either. And that was definitely not the name I saw on the place. Will have to scoot by again this evening.

"Wake Cup Coffee" is the name of the company, and "Esencia" is the brand name.

They roast "in small batches" which upon further questioning equates to 500 to 1000 lbs in a shot! And they said they'd be happy to have me come by some time to watch them roast.

zymurgist Without any preamble in your original post - are you looking for someone to roast beans for you? Because I thought you roasted your own...

No, just checking out the competition :-) I hope to be roasting commercially by year end. But these guys are not the competition as it turns out.
