I'm planning a 75th birthday party for my mum at the beginning of October either the 2nd or the 3rd. I'm looking a place with a private room that would suit 12-20 people. Mum is youthful person, loves good food and wine.

Any suggestions?

Beckta has a private room that may be the right size. Very classy place, delicious food and great wine selection. The only downside is that it is up a flight of stairs. That may or not be an issue.

Wellignton Gastropub has "the white room". Max 16 people.

Mezzanotte has a glass wall room that should fit about that many. Conversation is private, but visuals are not.
