Oh man, I just made my way back onto my Mother-in-Law's shitlist. Sigh.
I've mentioned here a number of times before that at home we have butcher block counter tops specifically so that we do not have to use cutting boards. We really like the marred up look the tops get over time. (Though we do use boards for meat and garlic/onions)
Well, the down side of this is that you do not necessarily think of cutting boards when cutting bread at someone else's house.
