ottawa foodies

I'm sure this has been covered before, but I'm new to Ottawa and to ottawa foodies so just looking for some opinions on a summer favourite, ice cream! If any foodies have any opinions or suggestions that would be awesome! Thanks!

It's a bit of a drive away up in Chelsea, but well worth it, especially if you are going to the Gatineau hills.

The Lemon Cassis Cheesecake flavour is amazing.

I've got to agree with Chopper up there: Pascale's is heavenly. I've really enjoyed gelato from Pure Gelato, as well, but I see that opinions are divided here on how good they really are. Better check out both Pure Gelato and Piccolo Grande and decide for yourself ;)

Thank you for the suggestions! I have tried Pascale's actually, subtle flavours, but so fresh and creamy. I am definitely going to check the others out over the next few weeks... I've heard Chelsea is a great day trip, so looking forward to trying La Cigale! mmmm ice cream...better step up my running haha
