Drove by there today and the signs were down. Anyone know if this is meaningful or not?

I had heard that the owner sold that location and they're only going to run the Preston location now. Of course, I can't find any online articles to support this...

Hm...I had heard that the Bronson location was already being run by a different owner (maybe someone that had worked at the first location and bought it from the original owner after the original owner opened Preston?)

My memory of the story is fuzzy.

Yesterday I saw a banner at the Bronson location advertising an opening of a restaurant under a different name.

Well, this article from the Citizen from a year ago indicates that Bob Russell still owned both locations at that time: www.canada.com

Of course who knows what might have happened after that was written.

I'm curious to see what type of spot ends up replacing it!

I'm quite disappointed that the Bronson Stoneface Dolly's is closed. It was our fallback restaurant!! :-(
But, sources tell me that another restaurant has opened in it's place. Perhaps the chef bought it and is calling it his own??

Can anyone confirm what has taken place here??

I drove past there today. It's a diner called Jak's Kitchen www.ottawaplus.ca
