Sakč Tasting at the Embassy of Japan [General]
2010 Dec 23
fwiw, i attended the 2009 event.
Well-read keeners or boozers might have found some of the narrative on the slow side. Also, I don't remember the sushi being that fantastic or filling ... but that may have been b/c i handed off the non-veggie portions to my partner.
Minor quibbles aside, I personally found it interesting, good value and well-paced relative to the 8-9 shots of sake served up (along w/ some left-overs at the end), esp. so given the lack of decent sake available in Canada. So, it got my thumbs up.
