MarthaS - thanks for posting this. my employer is one of the lead sponsors and each year we volunteer at many of the restaurants as greeters/hosts.
i unfortunately won't be participating this year (as a host or a diner) but i would encourage everyone to attend. Bruce House and Snowy Owl are great organizations.
make your reso ASAP because seats fill up quickly!

I am new here!
I am the person who for 12 years has beeb organizing A Taste for Life.
It takes place this year on Wednesday April 28. On that night 48 local restaurants will donate 25% of their dinner sales (food and alcohol) to Bruce House and The Snowy Owl AIDS Foundation. These organization provide housing and support to people living with AIDS in our community as well as prevention/education initiatives.
To participate all you need to do is pick a restaurant (the list is at www.atasteforlife.org) make a reservation and dine out that night.
When you go to the web site you will see that the event is held in many other communities. It was started and developed here and we have shared it with other AIDS Service organizations but it was here FIRST!!!
Anything you can do to help us fill restaurants would be grgeat!
