Good news, all of you that are sadened(SP??)by the inactivity in the building that once housed Helen's.
I walked by with the dog this morning (picking up after it unlike what appears to be a lot of people) and saw a liquor license request for a new wood fire pizza restaurant. I noticed awhile back that there was paper on the windows, concealing some activities inside.
I suspected something was up and the foodie in me is delighted to see that it is another restaurant and not, lets say a Money Mart like business.
It is good news, though it has been known for quite a long time that it is a wood fired pizza place going in. Of course the only problem with those places is that their prices tend to be astronomical.
