ottawa foodies

I've been going to bulk barn for candies. But i recently discovered that there is a huge wall of spice, and a lot of rice. I don't know if the spices are fresh but there is a good variety, whole or ground. Pretty interesting place, and if you shop at loblaws on blair the bulk barn is right there... two for one.

Maize - yup! BulkBarn is a great place to load up on spices, pantry items and baking supplies.

Absolutely, I hit the one in Kanata all the time, right next to Farm Boy, so another two birds with one stone. Great for flours and sugars as well.

Candies, Dried Fruits, Nuts, and occasionally Spices or Loose Tea.

occasionally find quinoa and israeli couscous
on the spices, buy the whole and they are fresher longer
