Gold Medal Plates has asked 10 chefs in Ottawa-Gatineau to compete this year in the Oct. 28 annual competition at Hilton Lac-Leamy. That's Yannick Anton at Signatures Cordon Bleu, Ben Baird of The Urban Pear, Michael Blackie now of the NAC, Matthew Carmichael of Restaurant E18hteen and Social, Kenton Leier of Capital Dining Room at Delta Hotel, Marc Lepine of Atelier restaurant, Mike Moffatt of Beckta Dining & Wine and Play, Rene Rodriguez of Navara, Serve Rourre at Le Baccara at Casino du Lac-Leamy, and Steve Vardy of Black Cat Bistro.
