I am looking for pork butt to try my hands at sausage-making. Any suggestions for a good quality/price ratio?

You can try Lavergne Western Beef - they do sell pork butt/shoulder in huge chunks (from 4 to 8 kilos) and the price would be around $3.8/kilo. And I usually just ask for that, since they don't have it lying on the counter.

I would suggest using a lean pork shoulder.
