I just moved to Orleans last week, as far as I can tell there are no fish markets here?

I don't mind the super store selection for some things but they are a bit limited and freshness can be an issue.

Any better places, within Orleans?

We don't have the greatest selection I'm afraid, go check out Farm Boy too.

You should visit China Town (Somerset Ave). I know that this is not Orleans, but I think you might find it's worth the trip. You can get lots of great seafood in at least three larger locations that I have visited.

I second the idea of trying Chinatown.

I found the prices to be much cheaper than Blahblah's and LaPointe's.

And where else can ya get some geoduck ? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoduck

Careful though ... some of the seafood counters, in some of the Chinatown grovery stores, have quite a rank smell to them.
