When soy sauce is added, the soup is called red roasted or braised beef noodles. When you visit Taiwan, you got to try their version of "Beef noodle soup".

Noodles with Taiwanese Beef Sirloin ($12.99) were delightfully spicy and contained a good quantity of tender beef chunks. Yum!

One day this week, I had the 15. Beef Noodle Soup ($7.95) for lunch. This was a generous bowl containing soft round noodles, gai lan (aka Chinese broccoli), loads of tender beef, and a pleasant light beef broth. Amazing value!
