Best Bagels in the region (Glebe location specifically). I've only found better on Rue St. Viateur in Montreal. I love how you can watch them rolling out the bagels, and because they use on open fire it always smells amazing whenever you get anywhere near the store. The service is good, but you have to know which bagel-makers are the good ones; I usually change my order (some put way too little cream cheese on the toasted bagels). Don't just go for the bagels. Try the pastries as well and the different sandwiches. Some of my favs are the BLT, TLC, and Montreal Smoked Meat... all amazing! The only problem is it takes forever on the weekends to get your food because it's so popular.
The best bagels I've had in Ottawa. The place is filled with sesame seeds, which means it is rare to find any bagel without at least a few seeds on it. Those with sesame seed allergies (such as myself) should spend some time removing stray seeds from the bagel before chowing down. My allergist would tell me not to eat them at all, but isn't anaphylactic shock a minor risk to run for bagels this good?
