Seems a lot like many Valley restaurants: we're in the Valley, so we can be utterly mediocre. Run-of-the-mill fried apps, disappointing pizza (that's extra cheese? Hate to see the regular cheese; industrial crust), a surprisingly good warm spinach salad, and, good grief, processed cheese in the sandwich.
Processed cheese anywhere outside of a fast food joint with a $1.99 grilled cheese = no return visit, which is unfortunate as there aren't a great deal of restaurants in "Mississippi Mills."
Service was quick and friendly, though.

Took a drive out to Almonte today to try the Fish and Chips at JR's Restaurant, I was not disappointed, the Haddock was done perfectly the batter was crisp, the fries were very good, the tarter sauce and coleslaw was homemade, they even served it with malt vinegar.....OMG, I was in heaven. The portion size was very good, more than I could eat. The service was excellent, the manager even stopped by our table to say hi and welcome us to the restaurant. The rest of the menu looked good and I can't wait to visit again.
