Hey Moe try giving us something different rather than the tired boring menu offered on the Canadian version.

Went here for dinner with the kids...the food was garbage and way overpriced. Started with nachos - what a joke - then came the jalapeno burgers which were over cooked, ceasar salads that were pitiful, and a turkey club that had barely any bacon, mushy tomatoes, and something that was supposed do be a djion mayo on it.

The best thing about our meal....the water.

Went to Twisted Lizard last night - worst meal I have had in Ottawa. My husband had ribs with a ceasar salad (extra cost for the soggy ceasar). They were the most disgusting fatty things ever. The fajitas were nasty as well. Steak was dry, peppers over cooked, tortillas hard as a rock. Despite the lack of customers (no real surprise) the staff was unattentive. No worries I am sure this place will not last long. Convenience to our East Barrhaven home was awesome - but that was the BEST part. Would highly NOT recommend it.

My husband and I were originally going to eat at East-side Mario's, but found it full. Going to the Twisted Lizard was a mistake, truly. I'd have to say the only thing good about the restaurant was the service our waiter gave. I ordered a Daiquiri that wasn't even fully blended and still had ice chunks in it. The food was very bland, and seemed like pre-made stuff you buy in bags just put on a plate! For 15$ a meal(the same price as East-side Mario's).. it was truly horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...

Went to the Twisted Lizard for lunch with co-workers today... the name is kind of creepy to start with.

Walking into this restaurant, things haven't changed a bit from the old Mexicali Rosas, except there are a few more lizards on the walls.

Looking at the menu, i wasn't excited at all... generic tex-mex slash bar and grill type items: quesadillas, nachos, burgers, salads, blah blah blah.

None of the wait staff looked too happy to see us, but the orders were taken and food delivered without problem.

Ordered the ultimate nachos... "single layer, every chip had toppings" -type nachos. Served with what seemed like home-made salsa, which at first had a decent taste, but quickly began to taste way too sweet. I'm not sure what it was about the nachos, but they did not, and are still not sitting well.

Other people I was with mostly ordered the lunch special, half chicken wrap with soup. The wrap was described as "salad wrap with chicken" or "mayo wrap".. one of the wraps had only 1 strip of chicken in it. The soup of the day was "fully loaded baked potato soup".

On tap, I saw Heineken, Coors light and Canadian. Disappointing.

Even after only having a quick lunch there, i'm pretty sure i wont go back.
