Went here with a large group of 45 people. Service was fast and friendly. Water always topped up.

They served some soft, warm garlic bread which didn't seem to have butter in it but maybe the garlic was baked right into the bread. Really good.

Started with the Empire Platter. Venison sausage was good. There was also dry cured meats, a nice cheese, olives, tapenade, hot peppers, spicy marinated eggplant, lightly toasted bread, and a truly excellent mustard.

I had the Empire Filet steak. Medium rare. It was excellent!! Some of the best steak I've had. In fact, only Sterling has been better.

Dessert was chili chocolate fudge brownie with vanilla ice cream. The brownie is warm and the chili gives it a pleasant heat. Kind of like if it had cinammon in it without the cinammon flavour. Definitely try it!

Went here Friday night in a group of 10 - 6 of whom were visitors from Botswana where beef is king. Most people ordered some form of steak or another and all were pleased. I had the haddock and wasn't blown away. The "family style" of serving the side dishes was pretty neat... but we could've had more sides for the size of our crowd. For dessert, a few of us shared the chili brownie with ice cream - a tasty treat with an exciting surprise from the chili.
The service was fantastic. When I first got my fish, it was full of bones but when I complained about it, they gave me a new one that was much better. Our glasses were always full and our empty plates were cleared away very quickly.
