Creme brulee for dessert. It was very good; I've had better, but not by much. You can see more of that nifty sugar sculpture as well.
I believe this was my main course on the second night (bison) rather than my wife's (venison).
My appetizer on the second night: deep fried tiger shrimp raviolis. They were the only (slight) disappointment I had. The shrimp inside was nice and plump, and the compote they came with was delicious, but they still struck me as a sort of high-end egg roll. That being said, I did happily eat them all.
These tasty looking truffles came with the bill. My wife had to "take one for the team" and eat them all, thereby preventing my likely demise from nut ingestion. She did her best to pretend they weren't very good. :-)
Due to a nut allergy I could not eat the tartufo, so I had a selection of sorbets. The sugar filigree was pretty neat.
Unfortunately I can't remember what the meat was in my entree, but I remember devouring it with gusto. I don't have a picture of my wife's chicken, but just a few days ago she mentioned how incredible it was. I really enjoyed the sweet crunchy carrot strips, and I'm always a sucker for those little squashes.
Next course was a lone scallop in a delicious sauce. I can't remember what the greens were or what was in the sauce, but I do remember trying to clean the plate as well as I could with my fork. :-)
