Just to let everyone know this store is closing at the end of the month - boohoo! Apparently the lease is expiring and the owner chose not to renew. Suisha Gardens will remain open though.

It's a cute little Japanese take out food/grocery/giftware store attached to Suisha Gardens. Staff is super friendly.

Best kept lunch secret in the downtown core? Eat at Kaedeya for a fraction of the cost of Suisha Gardens....but the food still comes out of the same kitchen :)
But get there shortly after 11:30 for the best selection, if you go much after 12:00 you're out of luck my friend.

I really like their Spicy Salmon rolls. It's easy on the spice, but they add chives to it which gives a great crunch.

Oh and pick up a tub of the sesame dressing. To die for.

Great place to get a quick lunch if you don't want to sit at the resto (Suisha Gardens) although the lunch is colder than the served-hot-resto meal.

Lots of fun stuff to look at. I love getting the green tea ice cream there!
