Hi, my name is Tim.

I am a code monkey by trade but a food lover in life.

I am 35 and have lived in the ottawa valley all my life. I have always enjoyed food especially locally grown product. As a child we always had a large garden and even had a lot in Quebec that we used to grow vegetables as well (with limited success).

What really got me started on my love affair with food was haveing a roomate that went to the cullinary school at Algonquin college. Even though I was only an amateur chef we began to have some competetion as to who could create the most tasty and exotic dishes.

I look forward to discussing food in ottawa in this Group.
