It all started in high school with late night munchies and a penchant for mushrooms sauteed in butter and garlic. "My, you sure like mushrooms!" commented my slightly oblivious mother. Several million mouthfuls later, I not only like mushrooms, I adore Christoph's King Eryngii monster-shrooms, his meaty hunks of Lion's Mane, and every other fungi out there.
My palate has grown and my interest only increased, to the point that I now work with local farmers, giving me a truly informed perspective on this whole foodie thing.
Nothing like mucking out a stall before you sit down to that roast lamb.

Hey, yah I got your message.
Im at UofO doing a 4yr psych degree... I sort of stumbled upon foodies when I was summer job hunting.
Im looking for something like a 9-5 full time in the summer. I applied to some City of Ottawa jobs yesterday but I'm never sure on how they'll work out.
What does the grant program involve? It sounds interesting already.
