Ottawa Foodies

Well I luv to BBQ and cook - spent lots of time in Texas and to them BBQ is a religion, a way of life. What we do up in Canada is "grilling" as they say. Its all about the prep and slow cooking with spicy BBQ sauces. Been in high tech too long from my days at BNR/Nortel and several startups. If I didn't have two girls in College -I would quit and join a BBQ team and compete. Or buy an old beer truck and covert it to a BBQ wagon that you see all down in the southern USA. Instead of going to a chip wagon, why not a BBQ wagon !! I use the Big Green Egg (never too much) and it does cost me alot of money .. too many beers and lots of good food for friends and family. Smoke Salmon, Ribs, Turkey and Beer Can Chicken ! Hey, thats what life is all about. Family, friends and good times together. Happy BBQing and Happy Fooding !!
