こんにちは、セブ、メッセージありがとう。
私は大阪から来ました。
私の使うレシピは全部日本から持ってきたので、英語ではありません。
However, you can buy Japanese recipe books in English at Amazon.ca. Author, Ms.Harumi Kurihara is very famous chef in Japan. This recipe book offers basic everyday Japanese meals (It kinda taste of お母さん Okasan (mom))
www.amazon.ca

I saw Japanese curry recipe without using pre-made curry sauce somewhere on the web.(pre-made curry sauce looks like block of chunky chocolate, but I assume you cannot it it baceuse of MSG.) I will find the recipe and send it you sometime soon.

P.S. Your Japanese writing is excellent! You must be in advanced class.
My friend used to teach at OJLS.

はじめましてアイスクリム。よろしくお願いします。お元気ですか。

I was wondering if you like to cook Japanese food and if you had any recipes or cookbooks that you would recommend! I mostly make Thai food but I would like to start cooking more Japanese food at home. I cannot eat MSG so sometimes it is hard for me to find Japanaese food that I can eat at restaurants, especially curry! 日本のカレー大好きです!

ありがとうございます!

すみません for my bad Japanese.OJLSの学校で日本語の学生です、でも上手ではありません。

Chimichimi,
Yes, Japan is small country yet there are so many things to eat and see.
You have to bear tiring long flight. It is pain in the butt. If you visit Japan someday, I am sure that you will enjoy fresh seafood, noodle soup, and fine pastries and baked goods.
I really want to go home now.

Unfortunately, no, I've never been to Nagasaki or in fact anywhere in Japan (much to my dismay). I really wish I could go, but the time required to get the 'full' Japanese experience far exceeds my financial means at this point in time :) Ideally, I'd like to spend a couple of months there.

Hi Francis,
my rice cooker is from Panasonic, bought it 10 years ago, still working fine. My husband used to work for Panasonic In Japan as home and kitchen appliance designer for 8 years, and he has so much knowledge of the rice cooker in general. I will ask him about your questions tonight and I will reply with links asap :)

Hi Aisu,

Which rice cooker do you recommend? I used to have the Zojirushi neural fuzzy, but the circuit board got wet when I washed it one day and it stopped working. The shipping and repair costs were almost the price of a new one, so I disposed of it. I have a basic Panasonic one now, with fuzzy logic, but I've never heard of innovations like ultrasound or steam before. The Zojirushi used IH, but the Panasonic I have now doesn't and still makes pretty good basic (white) rice.

Can you provide links? I'm a perfectionist and will probably end up buying one (though my wife will probably be annoyed at me).
