Always dancing in the back of my mind is: Hmm, what will I eat next? Growing up, my father (German) did most of the cooking in our house. He was a master experimenter/creator and always encouraged me to get my hands in there too.
I was, and am now, into it big time.

I enjoy reading recipes and ingredient lists on products and then tweaking them. One example: The Alpen cereal people should call me. Seriously. Coffee granules make it better. :)
Producing less garbage usually equals eating better. Try it.

I have a hard time in restaurants because the urge to go into the kitchen and help chop vegetables/roll dough/stir/fold napkins etc. is (almost) overwhelming.

Kitchens are labs for deliciousness.

Glad you enjoyed my comments on Les Brasseurs. I really want them to succeed too. It's a stunning space and it needs a stunning menu. Not "A la Cage Aux Sports"..if you know what I mean. The menu did not match the image they are trying to create for themselves.

For sure, you should go! They also have a nice patio overlooking the water.

Enjoy!
