Yayyy!! I can't wait, I'm loving all the new places popping up in my area here.
side note: a girl i worked with said The Works is moving to the plaza on St. Laurent and Hemlock, but for some reason every time I drive by there, I can't see it.

The new Works is in the plaza where the Drivers License renewal place is... I think before the plaza was renovated there was a bingo hall there. It is on the east side of St Laurent, and between Hemlock and Montreal Rd.

A close friend is renovating the old Works at 143 Putnam Avenue. he tells me it will seat about two dozen guests, and layout-wise will be mostly banquettes. As for the food expect domus-like local selections, a fairly small menu and at the moment a possibility of weekend brunches.
Will fill you in if I hear anything further...the buzz is pretty strong about it at the moment!
