Ottawa Foodies

I am taking my 87 year old father-in-law (going on 88) for a birthday dinner next Saturday. His greatest food passion is roast beef. What restaurant in Ottawa currently serves the best roast beef dinner?

The Keg is probably your best bet....

Hy's is one of the few places that still serves roast prime rib & Yorkshire pudding.

John's Quick Lunch serves it sometimes as I recall, but you'd have to hit it on the right day.

I would have to agree with Terry - the Keg is a go for Prime Rib. The Keg on Richmond Road would be a great spot for your Dad. They also take reservations which is nice. Quiet spot for a family get together

The Keg Manor on Richmond Rd is a charming spot, excellent service too now that JDK has me thinking about them... I'd recommend them.

Looks like it's the Keg on Richmond, thanks for the advice. All this talk of prime rib and Yorkshire pudding is making me hungry - I can't wait til Saturday.
